Fitted Alcove Wardrobe, Bookshelves and Cabinet

This fitted alcove wardrobe, built-in bookshelves and cabinetry was designed and built to be sympathetic to the existing period features of the client’s property.

Picture rails were added, matched and scribed to those already existing in the room. Subtle decorative beading was made and applied to further complement the decorative features of the room, while existing coving was left exposed.

A solid oak shelf was incorporated across the chimney breast and extended into the alcove to add a practical but decorative surface while adding a warm and elegant contrast to the neutral palette.
